Less than 10 minutes drive from Montepulciano, just 2.5 km from Acquaviva, along a country road you‘ll come to the gate of the Metina Holiday Farm that opens onto a large garden with many different plants and bushes offering colour and greenery all year round.
Along the driveway there are two parallel buildings each housing two apartments. The garden stretches to the right and slopes down to the swimming pool where it‘s blue-green colour invites you to take a dip even on not so sunny days.
Just a few steps from here there‘s a bathroom with showers and also a washing machine. Up near the main house you‘ll find an enchanting terrace with tables and chairs, barbecue and wood burning oven all for the use of our guests. From this terrace you can enjoy the view of the surrounding countryside with it‘s olive groves and vineyards.
The Metina Holiday Farm doesn‘t provide breakfast or restaurant service but you can purchase wine and oil produced on the farm. The large garden offers a vast selection of herbs such as sage, rosemary, thyme, origano etc that you can pick for home use and for barbecues on the terrace.
The vines of the Metina Farm cover an sunny area facing south east at an altitude of 300 to 350 metres. An area of great value, in the heart of the area dedicated to the Vino Nobile of Montepulciano. The farm covers an area of six hectares and the owners together with an oenologist controll each phase of production from the vineyards to the wine cellar. So as to ensure the quality, every year the grapes are thinned out to produce less than 80 quintals of grapes per hectar. From these grapes we obtain a wine with a flowery bouquet, dry and generous on the palate.
