Il Barone agriturism is situated in the historic center of Moniga del Garda, in an area that was once occupied by the historic winery of the Vezzola family. Renovation of the structure was finished in the summer of 2009. The house is approximately 50 meters from the main town square, and about 300 meters from the lake. Its central position makes the house easily accessible both by car and by public transportation.
All of the most important public services (bank, post office, tourist office, and laundry facilities) can be easily reached on foot. There is also a large public parking lot a few steps away. Il Barone Agriturism has 5 rooms with private bathrooms.
All of the rooms are extremely quiet and fitted with:
- Sofa bed
- TV
- Jacuzzi shower/water massage
- Autonomous air conditioning and heating
- Hairdryer
Il Barone agriturism also has 1 apartment consisting of a living area with a corner kitchen and sofa bed, bedroom, bathroom with Jacuzzi shower and water massage. The apartment can house up to 5 people. The apartment is completely furnished and air conditioned, and equipped with a dishwasher, oven and complete linens for the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom.
An international buffet breakfast is served in the traditional breakfast room on the ground floor. It is requested that guests inform the management of any food related health issues or allergies. The courtyard is at the disposal of our guests. The areas furnished with sofas and armchairs are available for reading, conversation and relaxation.
Il Barone Agriturism includes its own splendid olive grove with 170 secular olive trees located between the Padenghe sul Garda and Moniga del Garda municipalities. The olive varieties are typical of Lake Garda: Leccino, Casaliva and Frantoio. These olives are used to make renowned Garda Dop Extra Virgin Olive Oil, with its extraordinary low acidity. Dop extra virgin olive oil is also available for sale at the Il Barone Agriturism.
