The restaurant La Taverna del Pioniere, under new management, offers a very impressive menu, with fresh fish baked on lava stone, to keep it's flavour intact and the choicest Italian meat from the grill. You'll also find delicious pizzas with lots of different fillings. All this prepared by expert chefs, from starters to mouthwatering desserts, on the premises. An excellent selection of wines accompanies all these delights.
The indoor dining room, accommodating up to 70 guests has air conditioning while the 160 sq.m. outdoor veranda is immersed in the greenery of Fregene.
The restaurant is closed on Mondays and from 29th November to 19th December it is closed for annual holidays.

Tour of the Flavours of Italy
Starting on the 3rd November with Sicily, it continues on the 8th November with the Puglia, the 12th with Lazio, the 16th with the Campania, the 22nd with Veneto and the 26th with Trentino.
After the break, the Tour starts again in January.
We are open for the 24th December for lunch and dinner only with prior booking. The 25th and 26th we are open for lunch and dinner. On the 31st December, celebration dinner for the new year, with live music and menu from starters to dessert, comprising lentils at midnight all for 50 euros per person.
