Il Noceto Umbro is an authentic farmhouse residence located at Petrignano di Assisi, beneath Monte Subasio, with magnificent views towards the city of Assisi just six kilometres away. Besides offering comfortable rooms, the establishment also boasts a quality restaurant that specialises in traditional Umbrian cuisine using only local ingredients.

Converted from a 15th century farmstead, Il Noceto Umbro has double, triple and quadruple rooms all equipped with the latest modern comforts. Each room has its own spacious bathroom with shower, while the simple country furnishings and original terracotta floors are complemented by soft lighting.
The thick walls of the building act as a natural insulation against external heat or cold, keeping the interiors at a constantly pleasant temperature throughout the year, besides offering excellent soundproofing.
All rooms are equipped with: safety box, TV, wireless, air conditioning, independent central heating, mosquito nets (for summer).
Within a few steps of the rooms themselves, the large grounds and gardens of Il Noceto Umbro extend for a total of over 6000 square metres with mature trees and flower borders. The perfect place to relax and read a book while the children play around.
Each room has its own independent entrance, offering maximum privacy and freedom to our guests.
Perched on a hill opposite Assisi itself, Il Noceto Umbro enjoys magnificent views overlooking rolling hills dotted here and there with ancient Medieval hill towns, castles and farmsteads.
The restaurant of Il Noceto Umbro has a seating capacity of roughly 40 people.
A celebration of traditional Umbrian cuisine, the menu features dishes prepared exclusively with local and seasonal ingredients.
Over the years the restaurant has earned itself a reputation for excellence, thanks both to the fresh ingredients used in the preparation of the dishes and to the traditional recipes of Nonna Maria.
Our menu is structured in courses, from our delicious antipasti made with cured meats and local cheeses, torta al testo and crostini, to our typical first courses such as home made pasta, to our main courses featuring various kinds of meat from animals reared locally.
Besides our friendship, we also offer a number of services: the swimming pool (open from May through to September and measuring 15 x 7.5 metres). Guests are free to use this facility every day, either to relax whilst enjoying the magnificent views over Assisi or even to savour cocktails and dinners in the open.

The parking is reserved to our guests and free of charge.
