Our holiday farm is located in Magione, in a verdant valley extending at the foot of the hills surrounding the Lake Trasimeno Park.
Ours is a small family run farm where we grow vegetables, olives and fruit in a small orchard, we also rear calves, sheep, lambs and poultry.
We produce oil, fruit preserves, sauces, vegetables in oil and various delicacies and of course use our produce in the farm kitchen, for a menu as near 0 km as possible.
Apart from the holiday farm accommodation there's also an educational farm, summer camp for young people, houseback trekking that permits us to offer our guests an all round service.
The holiday farm lies in the countryside, surrounded by fields and hills, immersed in peace and quiet, in a strategic location with respect to the main towns in Umbria and Tuscany.
Delightfully simple, furnished in typical Umbrian style, with wood beams and wood panelled walls, our rooms for 2 to 4 people are a cosy refuge during your holidays. Each room has en suite with shower or tub and TV. Some of the rooms also have a fridge.
The 7 bedrooms are thus located: five on the first floor with the communal lounge at the center, two on the ground floor with direct access to the garden, ideal for guests who wish to bring their pets with them.
The rooms on the first floor have air conditioning.
The dining room has been created in the old stables, maintaining the architectural characteristics. Here you can enjoy typical dishes of our region, recipes from farming tradition handed down over generations. Every day, from our a la carte menu you can choose from various starters, soups or home-made pasta, main courses of meat grilled on the spot.
The menu is created every day according to the availablity of produce, mainly sourced from our farm. For this reason we would be grateful if you would notify us of any allergies or particular eating habits, in particular if you're vegetarian.
Breakfast buffet offers home-made pastries, cakes and fruit preserves as well as hot and cold drinks, joghurt, cereals and fresh fruit.
Among the communal areas for our guests: the swimming pool (12m x 5 m), open from June to September; the childrens' play area with swings and slide; the shady patio in front of the dining room offers a quiet corner for reading, sipping an aperitif, keeping an eye on the children playing; the communal lounge, with a well stocked library for young and old, cards, table games and a comfy couch for winter evenings while you enjoy a hot drink prepared with the facilities at your disposal.
