In the northern region of Latium, wedged between Tuscany and Umbria, agriturismo Poggio di Montedoro is located on beautiful hill of the homonym octagonal church of Montedoro planned by the architect Antonio da Sangallo the younger which characterizes this location not far away the city centre of Montefiascone and near the old Via Francigena.
Five independent houses, all re-built respecting the traditional architectural style of the country house, raise on a unique panoramic location dominating Bolsena lake, Montefiascone and the countryside with a wide view up to the Thyrrenian Sea.
The houses, all of different size, have one or more apartments. The resort offers 10 apartments with 40 beds available in total. The houses are well built and fine for the materials and for the typical old styled furniture and terracotta floor.
The following facilities are at our guests disposal: panoramic swimming-pool, private parking, barbecue, a patio with panoramic view to the centre of Montefiascone, a little wood with oaks and chestnut trees equipped for breaks and pic-nic.
The main house consists of two floors: on the ground floor is located the reception and a large dining room with kitchen and fireplace which is a common area for lunchs, dinners or for any other occasions.
On the first floor there are 4 apartments: Castagneto, Vignente, Montecardone and Cerchiare.
They are all of same size, with a kitchen and a living room with single couch bed (suitable for 1 adult or 2 kids), a double room, private bath with shower, mezzanine with single couch bed. Each of these apartments are suitable for 4 persons (2+2).
The main house is available for 16 persons in total. This is the ideal accommodation for groups of friends at any season and the large dining room on the ground floor can also be used for organizing private parties or dinners on request.
Casale Biagio is an independent house on the ground floor. It is located just in front of the main house and it has a patio where is possible to dine with a nice view to the swimming pool. It has a kitchen in the living room also with a double couch bed, a double room, private bath with shower and a single bed on the mezzanine. It is suitable for max. 5 persons (2+3).
Casale Salcia is another independent house with a small patio outside and nearby the swimmingpool.
It has a living room with kitchen, two double rooms (one of each also with a single bed), one provate bathroom with shower, one single couch bed. Fot its size, it is suitable for max 6 persons (4+2).
Casa Oliveto and Casa Poggeri are two apartments located in the same independent house. Casa Poggeri is on a up-level compared to Casa Oliveto. Both have a shaded veranda outside.
Casa Poggeri has a living room with kitchen and double couch bed, one double room, one bath with shower. It is suitable for max 4 persons (2+2).
Casa Oliveto has a living room with kitchen and a single couch bed, one double room, a mezzanine with one french bed, one bath with shower. It is suitable for max. 5 persons (2+3).
The old family house, located underneath the hill, has been restaured and renewed and it consists of two apartments of different size, Casa Maria and Casa Vittoria.
Casa Maria (4+3 persons) has two large double rooms also with a single couch bed, a independent well furnished kitchen, a confortable living room with fireplace and a balcony, TV.
Casa Vittoria (2+3 persons) has a double room with a single couch, a independent well furnished kitchen, a confortable living room with double couch bed, fireplace and a balcony, TV.
The two apartments can be rented also together as a whole house, suitable for max. 12 persons.
