AREZZO CITY

Another provincial capital of Tuscany, extremely important for the arts, is Arezzo, a place also well-known for its large production and workmanship of gold and silver. A historical city with a very rich and troubled past, visible in its Piazza Grande and the buildings that surround it. Of these buildings, worth a mention is the Palazzo del Tribunale and the Palazzo della Fraternita dei Laici, a construction that has arisen from the superimposition of various 15th century Renaissance elements on top of an initial 14th century genuinely-Gothic structure.
