Cuneo stretches between the rivers Gesso and Stura and visitors are struck by the imposing historic centre with it’s beautiful the aancient arcades, the Church of San Francesco, now deconsacrated, dating back to the XIII century and the Church of Santa Croce which possesses a strangely concave facade, probably unique in the world. Lovers of cheese and good food in general, should certainly pay a visit to the fiera del formaggio (cheese fair) which takes place every year at the beginning of November.
