Latina is an extremely interesting town and the resorts of Gaeta, Formia and Terracina very well known. Latina is a relatively new town as it was founded in 1932 and for this reason has many gardens and parks. It is also the bishop‘s seat and is located in the heart of the Pontina plain, 62 km south of Rome and only 21 meters above sea level.
