Lecco is a town that is also a provincial capital of Lombardy and is located in the southern part of Lake Como right at the point at which the river Adda flows into the lake. It is located at 214 metres above sea level on a plain at the back of which rises Monte di San Martino and to the east of which is the Resegone mountain range. Visitors to the town can see the Villa di Manzoni that nowadays is also home to the Museo Civico, the Torre, the Castello dei Visconti, the Palazzo Belgioioso.Furthermore thanks to its splendid setting it is also an important tourist resort which hosts a wide range of accommodation and bathing establishments.
