Lake Corbara is located in central Italy. Of artificial origin it was created by damming the river Tiber in the 1960s. It is part of the Tiber River Park, a protected nature area of Umbria. Located near the lake is the famous “Vissani” restaurant, a temple of gastronomy as well as some of the most prestigious wineries of Umbria, belonging to the Consortium for the Protection of Lake Corbara DOC.
