Lake Martignano lies in the area of Anguillara Sabazia, in the province of Rome, in Lazio and has preserved it’s unspoilt environment thanks to the fact that there are no roads or houses, apart from two farms, in the surrounding area. It is located at the bottom of a volcanic crater which is part of the Sabini Mountain group. Here you’ll find spectacular views, fascinating natural as well as historical and archaeological sites. The lovely surrounding countryside is made up of cultivated farm land, pastures and thick spontaneous vegetation reaching down to the sides of the lake.
