The Castelli Romani - Colli Albani are the remains of a large volcano known as Vulcano Laziale and the area holds a wealth of diverse environments from hillsides cultivated with vines and olive groves to thick chestnut woods and lush pastures, the Albano and Nemi lakes as well as numerous picturesque villages and fascinating archaeological sites.
