FASSA VALLEY

The Fassa Valley lies in the heart of the Dolomites, at the north western part of Trentino bordering on the provinces of Bolzano in Alto Adige and Belluno in Veneto. To reach the Fassa Valley from the south the road crosses the San Lugano Pass and the Val di Fiemme, from the north the Costalunga and Sella passes, from the east the Pordoi, Fedaia and San Pellegrino passes. The towns of the valley are: Moena, Soraga, Vigo di Fassa, Pozzo di Fassa, Mazzin di Fassa, Campitello di Fassa and Canazei. The Alvisio torrent flows through the valley into the Adige river after crossing the Fiemme and Cembra valleys.
