MOUNT PEGLIA

Mount Peglia is a mountain of Umbria (837 metres altitude) located in the territory of San Venanzo and belongs to the range of mountains that divide the territory of Orvieto from the Tiber Valley. It's profile is immediately recognizable from a distance due to the many telecommunications masts on the summit (RAI, Telecom, Mediaset). It lies in the area of the Mount Peglia and Selva di Meana Park, with an area enclosed between the course of the Fersinone and Chiani rivers and the Faena and Caldana rivers. The area is state property and the management is entrusted to the Mountain Community of the same name.
