The Pisani Mountains are of modest size, located in the central-northern part of Tuscany they separate Pisa from Lucca. The correct form of the name is in the singular but the plural form is mainly used and in this many also include the Oltreserchio Mountains. A typical product of this area is olive oil as can be sensed by the numerous olive groves covering the hill sides.
