The Vara Valley is a valley of Liguria, located entirely in the province of La Spezia. The river Vara flows through the valley that ends at the confluence of the river Magra, at Fornola, near the confines of the borough of Vezzano Ligure. The Vale of Vara is one of the four parts in which the Province of La Spezia is divided together with the Riviera of the Cinque Terre, the Golfo dei Poeti and the Vale of Magra with the Regional Nature Park of Montemarcello-Magra.
