The Asinara National Park is located in the borough of Porto Torres. Asinara is the second largest island of Sardinia after Sant‘Antioco. The island presents an extremely interesting historic, environmental and judicial situation. Although the first signs of man‘s presence date back to the neolithic period the natural environment has been preserved.
