The Etna Park is a protected nature area of the Region of Sicily, founded in 1987. The aim of the park is the protection of the woodlands as well as the preservation and development of the flora and fauna belonging to specific areas. It also regulates and coordinates the development of tourist activities that give access to the park and create economic growth for the local population.
