The National Park of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines was founded in 2001 and comprises the regions of Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna, more precisely it extends partly over the provinces of Massa, Lucca, Reggio Emilia and Parma. The National Park of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines comprises: 2 regional protected areas (the Giant‘s Park and the Hundred Lakes Park) and 4 state nature reserves (Pania di Corfino, Guadine Pradaccio, Lamarossa, Orecchiella).
