The Orbetello Lagoon Oasis is one of the 80 protected areas, run by the WWF in Italy, so as to preserve the habitat and rare or endangered species. As every other, the oasis is open to all nature lovers. The area is located on one of the most important migration routes and is one of the main wintering sites for birds that nest in Europe.
