The Po and Orba River Park was founded in 1990 and is subdivided into 3 stretches under 3 different River Authorities. The stretch from Crescentino (VC) to the confluence with the river Sesia was assigned to the Authority for the Protected Area of the Po and Orba Fluvial Zone. The park extends for about 90 kilometers along the banks of the river Po and is composed of various environments connected by the river.
