An island of great natural beauty where the only beach you can reach on foot is at Porto Alicudi, all the others can only be reached by sea. Living on Alicudi means walking everywhere but life here is slow and easy. After breakfast take the path sloping down to the sea then in late afternoon when it’s cooler you can shop for the delicious ingredients for dinner. It is so peaceful with no sounds of traffic and there is only one small road along the coastline which leads to the landing stage.
