The Brenta Riviera is the urban, historic and scenic area along the “Naviglio del Brenta”. The area holds many villas built between the XVI and the XVIII century by aristocratic Venetian families that are testimony to the power of the nobility in this period. At that time the Riviera was only accessable by boat as the present roads were built later.
