The Flower Riviera is the stretch of Ligurian coastline that is part of the Ligurian Riviera of Ponente and extends for about 60 km, starting just outside Imperia da Capo Mele, at Andora to the French border near the town of Ventimiglia. It has long, sandy beaches and stretches of rocky cliffs, similar to the rest of the Ligurian Riviera while the imposing hills of the inland reach to just a few hundred meters from the sea, and were once cultivated with olive groves.
