The Island of Giglio is the second largest in size. It lies directly in front of the Argentario Promontory, in the borough of Grosseto. The chief town is Giglio Castello while the other villages are Giglio Porto and Campese. It‘s an incredibly beautiful island that has kept it‘s natural wildness, offering breathtaking views at every turn, a real corner of paradise. Giannutri is the southernmost island of the Tuscan Archipelago and lies about 6 miles south of the island of Giglio.
