The Marche Coast: The coastline of the Marche stretches along 174 km and is mainly characterised by a low seaboard which gently leads to the rolling hills of the inland area. There are only a few rocky parts at the promontories of Mount Conero in the south and Colle S. Bartolo to the North. These are quite high with Mount Conero reaching 572 metres.
