The Canavese Wine Trail comrpises the boroughs of Chivasso, Agliè, Lanzo, Torre Canavese and San Giorgio Canavese. In the area of Canavese lies the “Itinerary of King Arduino” that winds through woodland and vineyards in a territory rich in art, history and magnificent buildings and extends to the hills, from the plain of Chiavasso to the summit of Gran Paradiso. The first itinerary introduces you to the red Carema wine and various types of Canavese. The second itinerary is in the vineyards of Erbaluce in which the castles of Torre Canavese, Agliè, San Giorgio Canavese and Massina can be found and leads to the Lake Candia Nature Park. The third leads to the Orco Valley and the Gran paradiso National Park. The products under the tutelage of this wine trail are Canavese DOC, Erbaluca di Caaluso Doc and Carema DOC.
