The Colli di Candia and Lunigiana Wine Trail comprises the boroughs of Pontremoli, Aulla, Bagnone, Villafranca, Fosdinovo, Carrara, Massa and Montignoso.The Trail begins south of Montignoso, along the Apennine ridge, and passing through Massa and Carrara it ends at Pontremoli. This itinerary is interesting for the varied morphology of the territory as it passes through coastal hills but also mountain woodlands. It is an important area for quality wine and oil production and borders on three regions. The wines under the tutelage of this wine road are Candia dei Colli Apuani DOC, Colli di Luni DOC, Val di Magra Igt, but there are other products under this denomination such as Mushrooms, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Chestnuts, Testaroli, Honey and Lard.
