The Maremma Hills Wine Trail comprises the boroughs of Grosseto, Monte Argentario, Capalbio, Pitigliano, Scansano, Sorano, Isola del Giglio, Campagnatico, Magliano, Manciano, Orbetello, Roccalbegna and Semproniano and among the participating authorities are the Province of Grosseto and the Cciaa (Chamber of Commerce) of Grosseto. This wine trail winds through very differing landscapes, from the lagoon, to the woodland and the hills. The area comprises the thirteen boroughs mentioned above and stretches from the Island of Giglio, inland to Scansano and Pitigliano. The products under the tutelage of this wine trail are Morellino di Scansano DOC, Bianco di Pitigliano DOC, Ansonica Costa dell‘Argentario DOC, Parrina DOC, Capalbio DOC and Sovana DOC.
