The most important of the Neapolitan area is the DOC Vesuvio that grows on the slopes of the volcano and includes the famous and ancient wine, Lacrima Christi. From Naples the trail winds towards Posillipo, the most picturesque part of the urban areas, then it descends to Bagnoli.
