The Wine Trail of Franciacorta comprises the boroughs of Corte Franca, Erbusco, Iseo, Monticelli, Brusati, provaglio, Rovato and among the participating authorities the Tourist Board IAT Iseo, Franciacorta Promotion, Cooptur Lake Iseo and the Farmer‘s Union of Brescia. This was the first wine trail to be created in Lombardy and is dedicated to prestigious wines of one of the two DOCG in the region, the Franciacorta that produces rosè and white wines. The area it covers is approx. 80Km located east of the river Oglio and west of Brescia, from Mandalossa it winds through the hills to reach Sarnico, on Lake Iseo.The product under the tutelage of this wine trail is the Franciacorta DOCG.
