The Wine Trail of Friuli Latisana and Friuli Annia comprises the boroughs of Marano, Latisana and Lignano. This wine trail lies on the plain that, from the southern most part of the region and the province of Udine, reaches the lagoon and the Adriatic Sea. The climate is extremely mild and for this reason the white wines produced here have extraordinary organoleptic properties. The main holiday resort of this area is Lignano that offers visitors eight kilometers of beach. The products under the tutelage of this wine trail are the Friuli Latisana DOC and Friuli Annia DOC.
