The Wine Trail of Nurra and Logudoro comprises the boroughs of Sassari, Alghero, Bosa, Sorso, Sennori and Oristano. The area it occupies is the northern part of the island while the eastern area passes through Nurra, Alghero and then descends to Bosa. The itinerary begins at Sassari, the second most important road of Sardinia, then passes though Porto Torres, that provided grain for the Romans as well as other products of Nurra. Proceeding further inland the trail leads to the lush countryside of Logudoro. The products under the tutelage of this denomination are Moscato di Sorso-Sennori DOC and Malvasia di Bosa DOC.
