The Wine Trail of Sangiovese and Flavours of the Colline di Faenza comprises the boroughs of Faenza, Brisighella, Casola Valsenio, Riolo Terme, Castel Bolognese. The Trail winds through the area south of the via Emilia, through olive groves and vineyards to the Apennines, connecting various towns of artistic and historic importance such as Faenza with it‘s artistic ceramics and Torre di Oriolo famous for it‘s figs or Brisighella, a fascinating medieval village at the foot of the chalky slopes of it‘s three hills. The products under the tutelage of this wine trail are Albana di Romagna DOCG, Sangiovese di Romagna DOC, Trebbiano di Romagna DOC, Cagnina di Romagna DOC, Pagadebit di Romagna DOC and Colli di Faenza DOC.
