The Wine Trail of Saperi and Sapori comprises the boroughs of Belvedere di Spinello, Caccuri, Carfizzi, Cerenzia, Cirò Marina, Cirò, Cotronei, Crucoli, Melissa, Pallagorio, Rocca di Neto, S. Nicola dell‘Alto, Santa Severina and Strongoli and among the participating authorities are the Chamber of Commerce of Crotone and the Province of Crotone. The Saperi and Sapori Wine Trail begins on the Ionic Coast and winds up to Massiccio della Sila, through the hills of Marchesato di Cortone. Along the trail, magnificent vineyards alternate with Spanish, Norman, Swabian and Aragonese castles. The products under the tutelage of this wine trail are Melissa DOC and Cirò DOC as well as Pecorino Crotonese cheese.
