The Wine Trail of Terrano comprises the boroughs of Duino-Aurisina, Prepotto and Monrupino and among the participating authorities are the Province of Trieste and the Chamber of Commerce of Trieste. The DOC Carso has the Terrano among it‘s vines and this wine trail was inaugurated with the precise aim of promoting it. The Trail winds through a Karstic area, very interesting for tourism due to it‘s fascinating geological features. It occupies an area that stretches from the sea to the state border, from Duino to Visoliano, Malchina, Prepotto, Sgonico till it reaches Monrupino. The product under the tutelage of this wine trail is the Carso DOC.
