The Wine Trail of Tremonti and Valle Peligna comprises the boroughs of Pratola Peligna, Corfinio, Raiano, Vittorito, Popoli, Capestrano, Calascio, Aielli, Roccacasale, Secinaro, Santo Stefano di Sessanio, Castel del Monte, Ofena and Bussi sul Tirino and among the participating authorities the Merchants Association of Abruzzo and the Tourist Board of Pietranico. The trail begins at Pescara and passes through Bolognano, Bussi and Tocco da Casauria. At Popoli, where the Gole di Tremonti are found, the Wine Trail winds up to Ofena to one side, while to the other, towards Prezza and Vittorio, to end in the Vale of Peligna, the area where the history of Abruzzo wine started. The products under the tutelage of this wine trail are Montepulciano d‘Abruzzo DOC and Trebbiano d‘Abruzzo DOC.
