The Wine Trail of Vernaccia di San Gimignano comprises the borough of San Gimignano and among the participating authorities are the Tourist Board of San Gimignano and the Consortium for the Vernaccia of San Gimignano. The routes of this relatively short wine trail spread out in different directions from San Gimignano. The products under the tutelage of this denomination are Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG, Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG and San Gimignano DOC. Other products under this denomination, apart from wine, are Tuscan Extra Virgin Oilve Oil IGP, Pecorino Toscano DOP and Saffron of San Gimignano.
