The Wine Trail of the Colline Aprutine comprises the boroughs of Spoltore, Rosciano, Moscufo, Pianella, Loreto Aprutino, Penne, Picciano, Elice e Montesilvano and among the participating authorities are Province of Teramo and the Municipal Tourist Boards of Picciano and Bisenti. It stretches from the hills that begin at the coast and extend to the Gran Sasso, from Montesilvano to Rosciano, Pianella, Loreto Aprutino, Penne and Città Sant‘Angelo. Included in the trail is the WWF Oasis of lake Penne. The products under the tutelage of this wine trail are Montepulciano d‘Abruzzo DOC and Trebbiano d‘Abruzzo DOC.
