The Wine Trail of the Colline Pisane comprises the boroughs of San Miniato, Palaia, Peccioli, Terricciola, Lari, Crespina, Fauglia, Lorenzana, Casciana Terme, Chianni, Ponsacco, Capannoli e Montopoli in Val d‘Arno and among the participating authorities, the Province of Pisa. It winds through the hills south of Pisa on the left bank of the river Arno, passing from the flat plain to the hills with their woodland, chestnuts and typical Tuscan vegetation. The products under the tutelage of this denomination are Chianti delle Colline Pisane DOCG, Bianco Pisano di San Torpè DOC, Colli dell‘Etruria Centrale DOC and Toscano or Toscano IGT.
