The Wine Trail of the Nobile di Montepulciano comprises the borough of Montepulciano and among the participating authorities are the Consortium of the Vino Nobile of Montepulciano and the Hotelier‘s Association of Montepulciano and the Terre Toscane. It is a wine with ancient origins and the trail winds up the Sienese Valdichiana between the city and the river, among typical Tuscan landscapes with cypress trees and vineyards, olive groves and clay soil. The product under the tutelage of this denomination is the Montepulciano DOCG.
