The Wine Trail of the Tratturo del Re comprises the boroughs of Atessa, Tornareccio, Bomba, Villa Santa Maria, Roccascalegna, Casoli, Fossacesia, San Vito Chietino, Crecchio, Tollo, Miglianico, Casalbordino and Scerni and among the participating authorities are Baino Viaggi, Vasto Golfo d‘Oro Association, Tourist Boards of Mozzagrogna, Cupello, San Vito Chietino and the Province of Chieti. This itinerary winds along an animal track where for centuries the flocks of sheep of Abruzzo descended to the pastures on the plains of Puglia. The products under the tutelage of this wine trail are Trebbiano d‘Abruzzo DOC and Montepulciano d‘Abruzzo DOC.
