The Wine Trail of the Vigna del Sole comprises the boroughs of Lecce, Cellino San Marco, Galatina, S. Pancrazio Salentino, Arnesano, Novoli, Surbo, Copertino, Carmiano, Leverano, Monteroni di Lecce, Maglie, Salice Salentino, Veglie, San Donaci, San Pietro Vernotico, Campi Salentina, Guagnano, Torchiarolo, Trepuzzi and S. Pietro in Lama. Salice Salentino, Leverano, Squinzano and Copertino are the DOC to be found in the area of this wine trail, on the “Tavoliere Salentino” or “Piana Messapica” in the north of the Salento. The products under the tutelage of this wine trail are Salice Salento DOC, Leverano DOC, Squinzano DOC and Copertino DOC.
