The Wine and Flavours Trail of the Colli Piacentini comprises the boroughs of Carpaneto Piacentino, Gropparello, Lugagnano Val d‘Arda, Castell‘Arquato, Vernasca, Vigolzone, Castel San Giovanni, Ziano, Borgonovo, Pianello, Nibbiano, Piozzano, Agazzano, Gazzola, Rivergaro, Travo, Bobbio, Coli, San Giorgio Piacentino, Ponte dell‘Olio, Alseno and among the participating authorities the Province of Piacenza and the Chamber of Commerce of Piacenza. This trail winds through the four main valleys of the province, that are Aeda, Nure, Trebbia and Tidone that corrispond to the area of production of DOC wines. This area is also extremely interesting for it‘s great architectural and scenic patrimony. The product under the tutelage of this wine trail is the Colli Piacentini DOC.
