SARDINIA

The region of Sardinia has several characteristics which make it quite unique in it’s appearance. It is situated in the middle of the Mediterranean and is made up of coastline, mountains, hills and plains all contained in a wild landscape which is almost entirely rocky. It’s coastline is almost 2000 km long and always different. One finds steep cliffs, deep inlets, promontories and long white sandy beaches, also enchanting little bays with crystal clear water. The region is surrounded by numerous small islands among which are Asinara, Caprera, Sant’Antioco, San Pietro and the Maddalena.
