Apulia

This is a region of Southern Italy which offers it's visitors an oasis of tranquility in a countryside which is still uncontaminated. For this reason over the last few years the tourist industry has expanded. The Apulia is, however, one of the regions richest in history which is another reason for visitors to come here and see it's interesting cities of art. The landscape of the Apulia has a few calcareous mountains but mostly gently rolling hills and plains. The capital of the region is Bari and the other provinces are Bridisi, Foggia, Lecce and Taranto.
