Abruzzo

This is a region of the Italian peninsular famous for being the green region of Europe as it has the largest number of protected areas and parks. Due to it's geographical characteristics it is unique in Italy, not only does it overlook the sea, but only 60 km from the beaches, the landscape changes completely to the highest peaks of the Appenines, the Gran Sasso of Italy and the Maiella.
