Campania

It is a region of peninsular Italy with the Tyrrhenian Sea to the south and to the west and is administratively divided into the provinces of Avellino, Caserta, Naples and Salerno. Naples is the capital of the region. The Campania can be divided into two distinct zones. The inland part is made up of the mountain ranges of the Appenino Campano and the Appenino Lucano, whereas on the coastal part there are a few isolated groups of mountains and hills.
